Coronavirus Update

We are taking a number of measures in response to the Coronavirus situation to enable you to feel confident to stay in a clean and safe environment whilst here at The Fold.

Cleanliness and safety

The safety and well-being of guests is our priority.

The Fold at Bagwy Farm will of course always be spotlessly clean for your arrival, however in addition to our usual high standards of cleanliness we have added measures to follow the Government’s cleaning advice for non-healthcare environments. This includes, for example, hard surfaces being cleaned twice and disinfected, and all linen washed at 60°C before guests’ arrival.

You are able to self check in on arrival, and self check out on departure.

We are fortunate to have plenty of outdoor space here at the farm, therefore social distancing is easy, indeed often the reason people want to stay here!  We do of course adhere to social distancing rules during your stay and at all times guests are asked to follow government guidelines.

Should government advice mean we are not able to welcome guests we will offer you the chance to postpone your booking to new dates or cancel and refund your booking in full.

If government advice for your area means you are no longer able to travel (but we can open) we will do our very best to rebook the dates and postpone your booking to new dates. Our normal terms and conditions apply.

We recommend you have travel insurance in place to protect your booking should you be unable to travel due to ill health, or if you were unable to make the trip due to being in isolation when the trip is due to take place.

We are happy to respond to any questions regarding this, and always try to be as flexible as possible.

At the time of travelling to us, if any of your party are showing symptoms of Covid-19 you should not travel. Instead you must self-isolate according to current Government guidance. If any of your group develop any symptoms of Covid-19 during your stay you must inform us immediately. You will then be asked to make arrangements to depart in order to self isolate at home in accordance with the latest Government guidance. You are advised to have travel insurance in place to protect your booking if this were to be the case.
